The Blue Man Group is coming to town!

The critically acclaimed BLUE MAN GROUP will make their first Fayetteville appearance when they bring HOW TO BE A MEGASTAR TOUR 2.1 to the Crown Coliseum on Sunday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m., as part of the official Crown Center anniversary celebration.

With their HOW TO BE A MEGASTAR TOUR 2.1, BLUE MAN GROUP embraces the rules, rituals and raw excitement of that most primal of group experiences: the arena rock concert! This full production tour features state-of-the-art concert technology. The tour’s third leg continues to bring the BLUE MAN GROUP experience to arenas and select theaters across the nation throughout the fall of 2007.

Executive Tour Producer Paul J. Emery, III of Emery Entertainment, stated, “The fan response to the Megastar event has been outstanding across the country and the demand for encore performances is far-reaching. We are thrilled to be able to add an additional U.S. leg of the tour following the group’s international performances.”

Describing the 2007 tour, Emery said, “After ordering a tongue-in-cheek ‘how-to’ manual on becoming a rock star, BLUE MAN GROUP is joined by an eight piece band and subsequently takes us through, step-by-step and song-by-song, every head-bobbing, fist-pumping moment of a real concert with constant hi tech interaction with their audience. The result: a uniquely clever interactive show that delivers hypnotic entertainment for all ages!”

Tickets are $52.50 and $78 and go on sale Saturday, September 22 at 10am. Tickets may be purchased at the Crown Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com or by calling 910-223-2900. Additional fees may apply.

The Crown Center is owned and operated by Cumberland County. Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the complex features a 60,000 square-foot exposition center, a 2,400-seat theatre, a 4,500-seat arena and a 10,000-seat coliseum. This fall, the Crown Center will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Crown Coliseum, the 20th anniversary of the Crown Exposition Center and the 40th anniversary of the Crown Arena and the Crown Theatre.
