A Look at Paul Baloche

While visiting Christian Music Today's website - I ran across this interview with Paul Baloche (Pronounced Like - Good 'gosh' it's Paul Baloche)- You can read the rest of the interview on the website - But just thought I'd share a brief bit of the interview as well as his picture for those who've not seen Mr. Baloche before... Enjoy!

How has your life changed since writing "Open the Eyes of My Heart?"

Paul Baloche: Besides being able to pay my bills on time, it has probably opened more doors for ministry. And I'm able to bring along a full band when ministering in the States or overseas, instead of going solo. Other than that, life is pretty much the same. I'm still a husband, a dad, and a worship pastor. I'm still trying to write songs that inspire people to worship the Lord. But I'm grateful and humbled by the impact that the song has had on the church.

You've been writing and recording praise & worship before it became a trend. Does it ever bother you that you're not a household name like other worship artists?

Baloche: There's not much I can do about that. It's out of my hands. It would steal my joy and "poison the well" if I worried about that. All I can do is stay on task and continue to do what God called me to do all these years. Like the Psalmist said, "Not to us but to your name be the glory."
