Today on the Midday Show, we said Farewell to our Up in the Morning hostess, Syndi Long. She and her family will be heading south towards the Atlanta area - her husband Paul, a soldier in the U.S. Army, has been reassigned there. Syndi has been a blessing not only our listeners with her warm and charming wake up calls (so to speak) every morning, she's also been wonderful to work with and a real blessing to our family at Christian 107.3 too.
In addition to everyone else, I know I'll miss Syndi - we've worked together for the better part of 10 years and have grown much in Christ thanks in no small part to Christian 107.3 giving us jobs as we made our respective journeys across the street from secular radio. We at the station have watched little Duran grow right before our eyes too... So I know wherever Syndi ends up down in Hotlanta, those who get to work with her, will be equally as blessed. And, I know I speak with the rest of the staff and our listeners in wishing Syndi, Duran and Paul all the best.
On a lighter note: We WILL be keeping in touch with Syndi from time-to-time; so keep us plugged in!
