My loving wife and two sons; The families that love us and share our highs and lows with; The friends that pray us through; The jobs we have, The associates we work with; Food on the table, Shelter over our heads; Clothing on our backs; Even our adorable pets that always eagerly greet us when we walk in the door. I'm also thankful for YOU - the listeners and the readers - without you, I have no job - I sincerely thank you.
And, the most gracious gift of Jesus Christ, who not only offers us forgiveness of our sins, but an eternal relationship with God and the promise of His eternal presence in our lives and our eternal presence in His; The privilege to communicate in prayer with our Father 24/7/365; and, The Holy Spirit to guide us Home... These are just a few words to express some of the things I am most thankful for.
The air we breathe, the Sun that warms us, the Night sky that dazzles us with its glorious array of planets and glistening stars; The rain that waters our planet; The seas that lap against our shores; The mountains that brilliantly arise among us... Psalm 19:1-6 reminds us of nature and how it alone displays God's full glory without uttering a word... A most precious gift indeed.
